A new knowledge hub for crane and lifting technology

October 9, 2014

The Konecranes European Training Center in Dreieich, Frankfurt officially opened on May 7, 2014. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, the 1,000 square meter facility was established to fulfill customers’ and employees’ growing demand for training in crane and lifting technology.

“Technical developments progress in increasingly fast cycles. Our intention is to offer a wide range of absolutely practical training programs for customers and employees, and thus set a standard in crane and lifting technology," says Jürgen Dlugi, Managing Director of Konecranes’ German operations.

The Konecranes European Training Center relies on certified skills, collaborating with TÜV Saarland (the technical inspection association of Saarland) and other partners.

In addition to responding to strong demand for both standard and individually tailored training programs, the center also conducts seminars on customers’ own premises.
